Slightly ironic, but I sort of planned to have a college as an area. Not really sure what I'll do with it though.

Alright, I'm making some changes to my original element idea. I'm adding one more character that I've been juggling around in my head to the list, which makes 8 party members, one for each element. Helios will not be playable.
Each character will have one major element, with some attacks being of that element combined with another element. In Grey's case, he would be primarily Light element, but his attacks could have darkness or fire mixed in.
So here's what I'm going to do for the characters' major elements:
Grey Dawn - Light
Shade Daeori Vylar - Dark
Van Torrence - Water
Kathal O'Quinn - Earth
TS's Character - Lightning
Vernu Andromeda - Wind
Fulgora Sabbatini - Ice
Joanne Hestianel - Fire
Again, each character will have some abilities that will branch into other elements. For instance, Vernu could use a lightning tornado attack, etc.
Character suggestions are still welcome, but I have the party members set, now. Any character suggestions will be either supporting characters or villains.
I have also updated the first post to include a little more information.

Been a while since I've been working on this project. School and other interests have kept this project pretty dead. But I still want to continue working on it. Since attachments and links from the old forum got screwed over during the transfer a while back, I'll have to re-post any images I had originally attached to posts.
Here is a link to the current playlist and BGMs for the game:

Here are the few sprites I've managed to accumulate.

And here's a test of a tileset-in-progress.

Just a random update; Yes, I do plan on continuing to work on this game. But I'm having complications with RPG Maker VX, and I can't get RPG Maker XP to work.
I've also decided to make this game retro-styled, so I'm de-mixing the music, and making the graphics as retro as possible while still having some amount of consistency and detail. I may actually switch back to an even more outdated RPG Maker software, 2000, since I have the original version of the game still there, and I'm more familiar with the programming.
I'm also considering changing some characters around and simplifying some names so that they're easier to pronounce, etc. I'm also changing the sex of (and possibly the name of) Fulgora Sabatini to add more variety to the party
