I will maintain hope that our combined voices can help fight back the tide. To be honest though, all of these specific policy issues are less important to me than the fact that our system of government has become dysfunctional. There are many things that are good about it, but we're become complacent about fixing the structural problems that have become apparent. I don't think i have enough room to go into specifics, but maybe it's time we had a second constitutional convention...

I understand, I mean, I know there's a lot messed up in our government, and I want it to be fixed as well.. I just feel that when the topic comes to stopping piracy, their doing all the wrong things.

Tell me about it! On the one hand, being radical means that things can radically change, but being reactionary and radical can mean things change radically badly. I just think a lot of moderate voices are being shut out of government, or at the least our government is doing a bad job protecting minority rights and interests, including privacy, even if the "majority" is okay with theirs being violated.
